SFL have successfully completed a large National covert vehicle installation programme with Arqiva Ltd.

SFL were selected to supply Arqiva with 'true' covert antennae for their large National Agency client. The requirement was for mass multiband antennae all to include a GPS module and an associated multiplexer from 3 port to 5 port. All antennae where to operate up to 3 seperate bandwidths maintaining the 'in car entertainment' reception.

SFL provided Arqiva with a like-for-like antennae, making the vehicle impossible to identify as 'covert' from it's external appearance. Over 20 variants of vehicle manufacturer had to be catered for in order to achieve the fleet's requirement.

The programme, which commence in March 2009, has allowed SFL to develop new and efficient sharkfin and multiplexer products, for example, a sharkfin design that can operate 3 seperate bandwidths aswell as producing a GPS signal.

Most of the antennae product's where supplied within a tight deadline of 5 working days in order to keep the installation programme on target.
