Ferrybridge & Eggborough Power Stations Go Digital
Following the success of the digital mobile radio installation at Europe’s largest coal fired operation, the Drax Power Station - SFL have secured short term two way radio hires at both Ferrybridge and Eggborough power stations.
SFL’s team have developed a multimast solution for a large UK based agency. The solution, which is to be deployed worldwide, is to create a far more efficient roll-out of covert security systems in fleet vehicles across the Globe.
SFL have re-launched the radio link which covers the nightime economy in the north Liverpool suburb of Allerton. More than 30 members have committed to the new scheme which was originally started and operated by 'Business Crime Direct' in 2005.
SFL has recorded it's most successful year for the design and manufacture of radio frequency antennae products. Of course, the drive of the developments is as a result of customer input and their requirements with regards to both overt and covert applications.
SFL have successfully completed a large National covert vehicle installation programme with Arqiva Ltd. SFL were selected to supply Arqiva with 'true' covert antennae for their large National Agency client.
SFL have designed a multiplexer that will operate two devices on the same bandwidth through one single working antennae. The SM4400, four port multiplexer, has been designed to allow two TETRA applications to transmit simultaneously.
SFL are proud to present the re-designed more efficient SM5000 range of multiplexers. The 5 port device is capable of splitting 3 bandwidths and maintaining the broadcast take-off through one single SFL modified antennae.
SFL would like to thank our Dutch Partner Koning & Hartman for the invitation to their 'Specialist Covert Products Event', held at their Office in Delft on 9th September. The event was attended by Koning and Hartman's existing 'Special Agency' client base.
Vinci Kings Cross Redevelopment
SFL's radio Hire Department, are once again, proud to be involved in another prestigious Project with Vinci Construction Ltd. The contract worth £153 million to Vinci Construction is being undertaken for Network Rail at London's Kings Cross Station.
SFL have been awarded with an order to design and manufacture a motorcycle backbox covert antennae used within a public transport fleet of motorcycles in mainland Europe.
