SFL works with Wirral Bazaar in aid of North West Cancer Research

SFL is pleased to donate six Motorola Digital DP3400 two-way radios to hire for Wirral Bazaar Christmas Fair in aid of North West Cancer Research.

The annual shopping event which will see 70 carefully selected stalls offering a variety of unique and beautiful Christmas gifts, takes place on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd November in the Walled Garden Marquee at Thornton Manor.

Last year’s event attracted 2800 visitors, so the two-way radios offer an important communication network.

Bazaar Committee member Kate Williams said: “The radios will allow the volunteer committee to communicate between themselves and more importantly, with the volunteers marshalling the car parking areas to make the parking (which is mainly field parking) as efficient as possible.

She went on to say: “This is vital, as mobile signal is poor. The radios will allow us to improve the visitor’s experience as soon as they arrive.”

This year’s Wirral Bazaar takes place from 3pm until 9pm on the Wednesday and 9.30am untill 3pm on the Thursday, and entry is £4 (which goes directly to North West Cancer Research).
