Telephone Interconnect seamlessly links landline and mobile phones with two-way radios. So employees who don’t carry a two-way radio, such as sales teams and office staff, can talk to radio users – whether it’s a private call to a single radio or a group call to multiple people. And employees with two-way radios can dial a landline or mobile phone and speak directly to anyone. The existing repeater will be bridged with a telephone interconnect link allowing full access to your phone system from your radio for both incoming and outgoing calls.

Key features of Telephone interconnect
One of the main benefits of telephone interconnect is that two way radios can dial a landline or mobile phone
and speak directly to anyone, increasing your communications without increasing costs, being a cost-effective solution you can increase the number of people communicating without multiple devices or paying multiple service bills.
How does it work?
MOTOTRBO Digital telephone Interconnect bridges that divide for digital two-way radio users, it seamlessly links landline and mobile phones
with two-way radios. So employees who don’t carry a two-way radio, such as sales teams and office staff, can talk to radio users – whether it’s a private call to a single radio or a group call to multiple users. The landline or mobile phone user is always“open”so when radio users need to speak, they simply press the push-to-talk (PTT) button on their radio. Once done speaking, the radio user releases the PPT to hear the landline or mobile phone user’s reply.
Emergency Features
For users working alone say on a night shift telephone interconnect allows the user to use his radio to call for assistance outside the coverage area, alerting off-site support personnel by contacting them directly improving safety and any need to carry additional devices for off-site communications.
