Supporting the Annual Basket Brigade 2023 Community Event

Every year the Basket Brigade, a 100% volunteer led charity in High Wycombe prepare over 1000 hampers for those in need. Delivering baskets across London since 1995, the event has seen incredible growth, bringing the Christmas spirit along throughout the years.
Over the last three years, more than 2000 volunteers have delivered over 5000 baskets, impacting 20,000 people.
The hampers provide people in the area with a Christmas meal. These are all prepared and delivered on the 23rd December every year by hundreds of local volunteers. Over 200 volunteers have already signed up for the 2023 event, they need 500 to make the deliveries possible.

How can I support?

Donations

The Basket Brigade team appreciate any contributions towards the event. To achieve the goal of 1000 hampers, they need to raise £10,000. 100% of the donations sent goes toward the event and items for the hampers. £15 is enough to fund a full hamper that will feed a family of 4! Are you local to the charity? They’re currently looking for drivers to help deliver the hampers on the day, if you would like to get involved, further information can be found here.

SFL have been delighted to provide continued support for the event throughout the years by donating two-way radios for the event day. Keeping the day running smoothly for all the volunteers and ensuring they can get the hampers prepared and delivered in time.
