Key Features
Access to Voice Recordings
Users connect to the recorder via a dedicated WiFi network. Once connected, recordings can be accessed through a browser-based interface with no software install required.
Safe Storage
Recordings are stored locally on the SMC recorder unit in an encrypted format. The unit itself can be physically secured, and data can be backed up via export.
Noise Filtering and Technical Specs
Each DM4400e mobile provides a clean audio source, with the SMC system applying a level of background noise suppression.
Plug and Play
Once the radios, SMC and router are configured at SFL, the unit starts recording automatically.
Export Recordings
Users can select time and date ranges and export recordings into a ZIP file with an offline playback interface.
Modularity
The system scales in modules of two channels at a time, so a four-channel setup just needs two modules.
Hytera Voice Recording Solution
An alternative to SFL’s VRS is utilising a Hytera PF985 device that provides audio recording via a micro SD card. This solution benefits from:
