Motorola DP1400s help improve communication at the London Camera Company
Based in Brixton, South London the London Camera Company (LCC) supply professional camera and audio equipment to clients that create content for UK and international broadcasters. These include the BBC, Channel 4 and Discovery Networks.
LCC recently turned to SFL Mobile Radio to help improve their internal communications by upgrading their two-way radio equipment. Previously using the Motorola CP040 radios, LCC opted for to the newer Motorola DP1400 model which allows them the flexibility of both analogue and digital transmission.
Speaking with Sound Supervisor Tim about their requirements, he explained that there is often a need for support across the company for both staff and clients which must be communicated quickly and efficiently. With some of the radio users being non-technical, they wanted the two-way radios to be simple to use but also robust and present a professional image.
Having used the radios for a number of months, the team at the London Camera Company are very happy with how they are working for them.
LCC were equally complimentary about the service they have received with Tim further commenting;
“SFL have been a professional, efficient and reliable partner, often pulling out all the stops to get us last minute orders. As our clients requirements evolved on the fly – particularly with regards to the additional requirements of a Covid-safe set, we have demanded flexibility – SFL have been great every step of the way.”
SFL are delighted to have supplied LCC and look forward to supporting any future communication requirements.
