Retail Giant Screwfix protects customers and staff with two-way radios

With the majority of retailers now re-open for business, having a plan to keep staff and customers safe whilst being able to operate efficiently is a top priority. Amongst the many challenges faced, communication is one all businesses have in common.

Two-way radios have been recognised within government plans as a viable measure in reducing unnecessary movement within shopping centres and retail parks which is an important step in maintaining social distancing.

One retailer who has taken a proactive approach to ensuring the safety of their team is leading home improvement retailer Screwfix, who approached SFL Mobile Radio to help with creating a ‘Covid Secure’ working environment. After understanding their requirements we supplied XT180 radios to 700 stores across the UK and Ireland which were supplied within 4 days of placing the order.
